Baseball Totals System

A client called me to tell me about a Baseball Totals System that he recently came across and he was wondering if I would review it for him.

This very simple system works like this...

• Look for teams that have gone either over or under for three consecutive games and wager the other way.
• If a team goes over or under the total for a fourth consecutive time, bet it one more time against the trend.
• If you lose that bet, wait for a new trend of 3 consecutive games to begin.

Now, I have to be honest with you, I've never used this system before but it does look promising after looking at 2011 data. In fact, I've decided to start using the Baseball Total System starting tomorrow.

This is how I'm going to use it...

Since I didn't spend enough time to find out what the actual win percentage was for 2011, I'm going to use the Labouchere System since I know that I can show a profit even with a 40% win percentage using the Labby.

The odds are low on totals, so I'm going to set a monthly income target of 15% of my bankroll, similar to the Set Monthly Income System that I wrote about in February. So if you have a $1,000 bankroll, multiply $1,000 by 15% to get your monthly income target of $150.

The next step in this Baseball Totals System is to divide your monthly income goal by 40 to create 10 rows of four numbers. For instance, using the example above, you would divide $150 by 40 to get $3.75 (let's round that up to $4).

Then create your 10-row series like the following:

1. 4 - 4 - 4 - 4
2. 4 - 4 - 4 - 4
3. 4 - 4 - 4 - 4
4. 4 - 4 - 4 - 4
5. 4 - 4 - 4 - 4
6. 4 - 4 - 4 - 4
7. 4 - 4 - 4 - 4
8. 4 - 4 - 4 - 4
9. 4 - 4 - 4 - 4
10. 4 - 4 - 4 - 4

The object is to clear each of the 10 rows by betting "to win" the two outside numbers. Once you clear all 10 lines, you will achieve your monthly income goal.
