Or learn how you should dress for today’s St Louis Cardinals game at Busch Stadium. | The 46,000 seat, $365 million stadium is home of the St. Louis Cardinals. It is the third ballpark in St. Louis to carry the name Busch Stadium. Sometimes locals call it 'New Busch' or 'Busch II' to set it apart from the old Busch stadium. Similar to other retro-style ballparks, it has a small foul area, short field, steep seating area, and large array of concessions and other entertainment. The playing field is bluegrass and the outfield wall is 8 feet high. Busch has favoured pitchers since its debut in 2006, with spacious but fairly typical dimensions: 335 in the corners, 375 in the alleys and 400 to centerfield. The foul area is wide behind the plate but it tapers to near nothing in the corners. ESPN ranks Busch Stadium #24 offensively. In 2010, Busch Stadium surrendered a total of 8.22 runs per game for both teams (21st highest in MLB). Coors Field surrendered the most runs (10.59). How much does MLB weather affect baseball scores?
